A miniaturized device for HD-EMG

The Meacs Sensor Unit

The first device produced, CE marked and commercialized by ReC, is the MEACS system. It is a 64/128-channel wireless and modular HD-sEMG acquisition system. The MEACS was designed to offer unmatched performance in HD-sEMG recordings, in terms of signal quality, rejection of movement artifacts, setup flexibility and ease of use [1][2].The MEACS system is the most miniaturized 32 channels HD-sEMG acquisition system on the market and its design and performance were fully described in the literature [1][2]. MEACS opened new perspectives for the study of the neuromuscular systems in highly dynamic scenarios, from musical performance to on-field sprinting [3][4][5].
